1. Last year, I received a nice souvenir from blogger Wenn. It was a souvenir from her Hong Kong trip.

This is the card I received.

When I opened up the card, I saw my this! Aren't they cute! Thanks Wenn for this wonderful souvenir!

2. I am an extremely loyal Shell petrol user. If my car is in danger of running out of petrol, I would not simply drive to any nearest petrol station unless it is a Shell station. Maybe I'm influenced with Shell's branding? You know, Shell = Ferrari? Haha!

Recently, a friend told me that his favourite petrol is Mobil. I was like, what?! His least favourite is Shell! Reason? He found that Shell petrol does not last as long as Mobil.

Now I wonder if that's really true because so far, I have not tried any other brands other than Shell. Should I start switching brand?

3. The other day I went to Suria KLCC and took this photo of the Twin Towers.

I don't know about you, but am I glad Dr M went ahead with the building of this Twin Towers. Perhaps if Dr M is still the Prime Minister of Malaysia, we would have our very own rotating tower as well! Now that would be cool!

Although Burj Dubai is now the tallest building in the world, I still prefer our very own Petronas Twin Towers. What about you?

4. Have you tried PappaRich's soya milk cendol with gula melaka? It's so yummy!! I just hope they don't raise the price with increase in the price of sugar! Actually it'll be quite ridiculous to raise the price of the drinks. Sugar price had increased by 20 sen per kg. Don't tell me they are going to increase the price by 20 sen per glass!

And have you tried PappaRich's bread with butter and kaya? They are really generous with the butter and kaya unlike OldTown! Yummy!!

5. Do you believe in feng shui? If you have read about The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, and you believe in that, then you believe in feng shui. You may not be aware, but both The Secret and feng shui talk about invisible energy that flows around us.

Although modern science is still in the dark over this invisible energy, the Secret and feng shui have already been proven to work for countless of people all over the world.

I believe in feng shui because I have already seen its effects many times. And the beautiful thing is feng shui is constantly working in your life whether or not you believe in it!

The question now is no longer a matter of beliefs, but are you doing something about it?

6. I always like to read inspiring and meaningful quotes from famous authors and people. I have a collection of some of my favourite quotes on Twitter. Check some of them out here. Hope they will help motivate you and perk up your day! Happy weekend, everyone! Don't you just love weekends? : )

Note#3 - I think the twin towers is beautiful but let's not go overboard over a piece of monument. I don't want a rotating tower. I would like to see real issues and problems ironed out without fear or favour of men in this country. Now, that would be something way better than having more structures erected.

That's a nice Hkg gift from Wenn.

I started out with Shell, then switched to BP then now to Petronas - all out of convenience/location. I haven't used Mobil and Caltex though - for some reason.

I still wonder if it's true about filling up in the morning vs the afternoon due to expansion of the gas in the heat.

Yes, the twin towers are awesome to behold. I like the view best from the traffic light junction before Public Bank.

I think one good set of towers is good enough to put Malaysia on the world map. The twin towers are still the tallest twin towers in the world and probably will be so for a long time to come. Still no competition yet, I think.

our Petronas Twin Towers has dropped from the top 3 already.. anyway, it's still the tallest TWIN TOWERS in the world.. if we stack them together, it's taller than any one else.. :p

Those twin towers are not symbolic of the twin towers that were destroyed by terrorists in New York City, are they? I can still relive that moment, that day. I just got inside my car, turned on the radio and heard, "airplane crashed into one of the twin towers in New York..." Arrived at work and then heard "...a second plan had just crashed into the other tower..." Very surreal feeling, I can never forget the sickening feeling and horror.

The PappaRich's soya milk cendol looks hecka good! We don't have food and drinks like that in my city :(

    Have a wonderful weekend!

cheahs@n, I think I'm not properly trained to see auras. I just see them by chance. The auras I see were usually white.

ai shiang, you have not heard before? How come? It's advertised as such over here. My friend compared the different petrol with his own car. So it's the petrol that made the difference.

The groceries increase price often at your place? That's bad!

I'm quite a loyal Shell petrol user too, though this is the first time that Shell = Ferrari. :D the only other petrol brand I've tried was Petronas but switched back to Shell as it's more convenient for me. (more of Shell stations in my area)

I recently went to KL and passed PappaRich! I read your review of it in an earlier post. Wow, the cendol looks really good....and no, I didn't get the chance to stop by the outlet to grab a bite!!! Ahh, next time, next time!

As for The Secret, I only know one part of the book which is about believing in something and you'll get what you want. Something about an empty parking lot. Sounds quite unbelievable. I've yet to try it out though. And yeah, would love to get the book and read it. :)

I used to go on a site where you could post notes. Like, you could customize the way the note would look and then they would show up on your profile.
