I Am Back!

Hi everyone! I am back!!

Firstly, Happy New Year 2016 to all my readers! Thank you for visiting my blog again after the unfortunate incident that started in November last year.

In case you did not know what happened to my blog and why I did not blog for more than a month, well, here's the story. Back in November 2015, I noticed that whenever I visited my own blog, a window would open and an ad about keeping my laptop safe appeared. As soon as I click the window close, it would automatically opened a new tab on my laptop and the ad would appear again on the separate tab.

At first, I did not think too much of it and simply just closed that tab. But when it kept happening every single time I visited my blog, I knew something was wrong. But I was simply too busy to care at that time.

Then in early December, right after I posted a new blog post, readers told me that they could no longer access my blog because all they saw on the screen was this!

 photo ScreenShot Warning_zpsqjieb4ql.png

Strangely, I could not see this red warning sign using my Safari browser on my Macbook. Neither did I see it via my mobile phone. So I could still read my own blog. But when I tried visiting my blog via Google Chrome browser, the red alert appeared. I was shocked.

I was advised to remove all widgets and ads, which I did. I took out Bidvertiser (which I suspected was the main source of my problem), and most of the widgets I deemed unsafe. But roughly three weeks after I did that, I checked and the red warning sign remained. I was frustrated! What else should I do?

I thought of getting help from experts out there although I knew it would not be cheap. I found Sucuri  but the amount I got to pay them (US$199.92 per year) was too expensive considering that my blog is not really a money-making type of blog. It would not be worth paying that much, unless the income I derive from my blog is in the thousands!

 photo ScreenShot Sucuri_zpsykpu2xhl.png

I almost gave up and was even thinking of starting a second blog when the day after the New Year (i.e. Jan 2nd, 2016) I visited my blog one more time via Google Chrome browser and got a huge surprise! There was no more red alert warning! I could not believe my eyes!

I quickly texted a few friends and asked other bloggers to check if my blog was indeed cleared from virus and malware. The responses were in the affirmative. I was ecstatic. What great news! What an awesome New Year gift for me!

Thank you Google, even though it took you a month to remove me from the "Blacklisted" list.

A few days after that, traffic returned to my blog and there was in fact, a spike in traffic from Google.com. But of course, I did not read too much into that since the spike was from zero traffic. LOL! So yeah, I am back, everyone!! Happy New Year 2016! :)

When Panda Predicts Like Paul The Octopus!

I am supposed to resume blogging about my last year's China trip but I am afraid watching the World Cup Final had taken the toll on me!

Paul the Octopus had successfully predicted the winning team 7 times in a row. Will he predict the winner correctly for the final too although Germany is in not involved? I hope so. Because Panda (that's me!) had predicted the same too. Haha!

Today I did an experiment. Or rather my friends did an experiment on me.

I was asked to choose between an egg tart and a siew bao. (Please google siew bao if you do not know what is that. I have to keep this post short! LOL!)

My friend used the egg tart to represent Spain and the siew bao to represent Netherlands. Of course they did not tell me about it.

I chose the egg tart. Cos I actually prefer egg tart to siew bao.

And I was told by my friend I had picked Spain as the World Cup champion. Wow! Didn't know I, the Panda had the power of Paul the Octopus too! Haha!!

Anyway, today's post will be short and sweet. A slight departure from my usual long winded posts since I am posting this at 4.30am in the morning while watching Netherlands and Spain battling it out at the World Cup Finale!

OK, do you notice something different with my blog? Yes? No?

There are 4 things I added to my blog.

1. Well, for those of you who are not very observant (read could not care less), I have a new favicon! Don't know what is a favicon? OK, read my old post on Favicon. Do you see that icon next to my blog's URL at the top of the screen? Well, that's my favicon.

2. Do you see the green Retweet button on the top right corner of this post? If you tweet, you can click on the Retweet button to retweet my post. If you do not tweet, why not start signing up with Twitter now? It's so fun!!

3. Do you see the blue thumb icon and the word Like button at the bottom of this post? Well, if you like my post, please click on it! Of course, you would need to sign up with Facebook to do so. If you are not with Facebook, why not sign up today? Perhaps you want to put this Like button in your blog as well!

4. Lastly, do you see the Share button next to the Comments right at the bottom of the post? If you like my post, feel free to bookmark it or share it with online social networks like Digg, StumbleUpon, Reddit etc.

The only problem is I do not know how to place this Share button in the middle instead of sticking so close to the Comments link. Anyone can help me here?

Note: The World Cup Final had just ended. Spain is the Champion!! OMG! Paul the Octopus got it right 8 times in a row!! And I got it right too! Haha! Now if you still think that is coincidence, I don't know what else to say! I am going to celebrate this by taking my Monday off! Woohoo!!

10 Reasons Why I Did Not Update My Blog Lately

Posted by : foongpc | Saturday, June 19, 2010 | Published in

I have not been updating my blog for almost a week now. You must be wondering why I was MIA (Missing In Action)! Well, let me tell you why....

1. I was busy watching the World Cup. I am not a huge football fan, mind you, but it was a once-in-four-years thingy and I just could not NOT be a part of it! I just realised the World Cup provided me with the BEST excuse for just about anything this month! Maybe they should have the World Cup every year! LOL!

2. When I was not watching World Cup, I was busy watching my favourite TVB drama serials. Seriously, why would anyone bother to watch Korean and Japanese shows? Hong Kong TVB dramas are the best in terms of plot-lines and acting! Well, to me anyway! haha!

3. When I was not watching my favourite TVB dramas, I was busy tweeting. Since I am not good at multi-tasking, don't expect me to blog and tweet at the same time! LOL! Well, tweeting is pretty addictive and I just got sucked into this whole Twitter phenomenon!

4. I was tired of waiting for my photos to upload. Now you know why this post have no photos!

5. I was busy working hard to earn money. You know right, the Government is going to do away with the subsidies and petrol price will be increasing soon, and we all know everything else will automatically be more costly once petrol price increases! How to survive if I don't work my panda ass off?

6. I was busy helping my mom wrap and steam those bak chang (glutinous rice dumplings). They were so yummy! Can you blame me for helping my mom make bak chang and not update my blog?

7. I was not in the mood to blog. Although I love blogging, I, like any normal bloggers, still have my off days. So gimme a break, will ya?

8. I wanted to know how it feels like not blogging for a week. Well, I wanted to experiment a little and see how it feels like not blogging for an entire week. Of course, I failed, because before the week was over, I had already resumed blogging. Damn!! Guess I would never ever stop blogging for good! Hmmm, wonder if this is good or bad news?

9. I was busy reading your blog. Yeah right! I can just hear you say that. Haha! But look, just because I did not leave any comments in your blog, that does not mean I did not read your blog or at least glanced through it. Well, I think I did admire some of the photos you took or at least downloaded from the Internet : )

10. I attended Bloggers Anonymous (something along the lines of Alcoholics Anonymous) and it seemed to be working!! Until now, that is....haha!

So there you are - my 10 reasons why I did not update my blog lately! What about you? Do you have off days in blogging? Have you ever thought of quitting blogging and leading normal lives again?

Something Happened To Me In Bali

Posted by : foongpc | Thursday, April 1, 2010 | Published in

Hi everyone! I am back from my holidays in Bali!

Firstly, I would like to apologize to all of you who have been waiting for my blog updates. I was extremely exhausted after returning from my holidays I needed a long rest! It's like I needed a holiday after the holidays!

I am also sorry that I am unable to drop by most of your blogs as I am still recovering from travel fatigue, if there's a term for that! Haha!

Well, in any case, something extraordinary happened to me in Bali and no, it has absolutely nothing to do with ghosts or the paranormal.

I just have to say that at this very moment, I am on cloud nine. I am very, very happy. Want to know why?

I have found my true love in Bali, of all places! Yes, this sounds unreal but it's true! I have finally found the person I wanted to be with for the rest of my life!

When I heard that Amber Chia had a secret wedding in Bali, I was stunned. I mean, was this a coincidence or what? She got married and I found my life partner - and it all happened in this charming, lovely island of Bali.

I know, I know - this is my private life and I am not too comfortable blogging about it! I am a private person and I do not like to talk about such things. But I am just too excited not to mention about it!

This must be the most memorable holiday in my entire life! Honestly, I think Bali has changed my life!

Previously, I have never believed stories about couples who got married after just a week of knowing each other. Well, guess what? We are getting married in June! And that's just after 4 days of knowing each other! Are we insane? Maybe.

And where shall we be getting married? Where else, but in Bali of course!

I could hardly concentrate on my work since I returned. My mind was still in Bali. It was tough. I needed to go back to Bali.

All of a sudden, I did not have this desire to blog anymore. I tweeted less and I did not even have the desire to log onto my Facebook.

I just did not have this interest in blogging anymore. My passion for blogging had died and it was replaced with thoughts of my new love and thoughts on Bali.

I am so sorry to let everyone down. Thank you so much to all you readers who have been faithfully following my blog all this while. I am really grateful.

As it is, I am actually forcing myself to write this. But I think I owe it to all my readers to explain exactly what happened to me and what is going to happen next.

Maybe I will continue to blog until June. At least I need to finish up all my posts on my China trip and Lake Kenyir trip and even this Bali trip. I don't think it's good to leave them hanging. But really, I find it so difficult to write a post nowadays. It's taking too much time, too much effort.

But mostly, I am not in the right frame of mind to do any blogging. I just feel that things are different now. Life is different. Priorities have changed.

I will definitely miss all of you! Even though I will stop blogging, that does not mean we should stop contacting each other. Do email me as often as you wish!

I guess that's it for now.

Oh, by the way, if you have read this far, let me say.....

GOTCHA!!!!

HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY!! Haha!!

Getting married in June? That's crap!

Quit blogging? That's even crappier! Haha! : )

Note: Congrats to SK, Jam and Tekkaus for being the top 3 commenters in my previous two posts! You will each get to choose a souvenir I bought from Bali! More on the next post coming right up!

I'm Giving Up On Blogger!

It's now 3.02am.

For the past one hour, I have been trying to access my posts without success. Despite reloading and refreshing countless times, I have not been able to go to my list of posts.

There is no problem writing a new post. But once I click "Publish Post" I will get an error message from Blogger. I will never know if my post is successfully published until I see it appears on my blog.

I have written two new posts to be scheduled for today at a later time and for Saturday (March 27th). But the posts were not really complete and I have yet to proofread them. Furthermore, I still have a few more photos to be included in my next post.

But sadly, there is NO WAY to do edit my 2 upcoming posts.

There is no way because I SIMPLY COULD NOT ACCESS THEM. Clicking on the "Edit Posts" button on my Blogger Dashboard resulted in an error message.

Clicking on the refresh button was of no help at all, and I had been doing that for the past one hour!

I can only hope that my post which will be coming out later today will turn out well. The same with my scheduled post on Saturday.

Maybe it's time I get my own domain and use WordPress platform.

All I know is that I have complained to Blogger many times but they have not been able to solve the problem. Either they are not doing their best or they don't care.

In any case, Blogger sucks BIG TIME!

Enough is enough! I'm giving up on Blogger!!

Random Notes 6

Posted by : foongpc | Wednesday, March 3, 2010 | Published in

1. I am blogging using another computer. My laptop is down with H10N10 virus (haha!) and still in intensive care. Poor me!

2. Sorry no photos today. All my recent photos are inside my "sick" laptop! I have some in my pendrive, but I am too lazy to upload them onto this blog.

3. I am feeling a bit frustrated because it's not like I did not have a paid version of AVG anti-virus program! I guess without AVG, my laptop would be breaking down more often!

4. Now there's something wrong with Blogger as well!! When I click on the "edit posts" button or "return to list of posts" button, an error message comes out. This is frustrating indeed!!!

5. I have a ghost story to tell you all, and it's been haunting me, but it will have to wait cos I am just too busy to write it all down.

6. Is Whitney Houston on drugs again? Gosh, she's just wasting away all her talents!

7. It's been really, really hot these days! I have been sleeping completely naked for the past few nights and with both the fan and air conditioner switched on! Have you tried sleeping completely naked? It's really nice! : )

8. Do you all still read the newspapers? I realized that since I started blogging, I have not been touching the newspapers as often as I used to.

9. I had recently composed a few songs on the piano. I want to record them and post them on my blog, but with Imeem taken over by MySpace, I just do not know where to save my recordings so that I can embed them on my blog. Apart from YouTube, any other good recommendations?

10. I am looking forward to a potluck party this weekend. I will be bringing loads of prawn crackers I bought from Kuala Selangor and of course, my empty stomach too! Haha!

11. Sorry I am not able to drop by most of your blogs. But once I get my precious laptop back, I will definitely visit all of you again! I miss reading all your blogs! So they better be good! haha, just kidding : )

How I Changed My Blog's Layout At Genting Highlands (Part 3)

Posted by : foongpc | Friday, February 26, 2010 | Published in

Continued from Part 2

Once we came down from the cable car, my friend Ed and I walked around Genting Hotel to look for a place to have our lunch. Finally, we settled for Coffee Terrace.

Coffee Terrace offered buffet as well as ala-carte. We went for ala-carte.

We looked through the menu and made our orders. While waiting for the food to arrive, I took some more photos of the interior.

These were items displayed on the wooden shelf.

Ceiling light.

I was having a little cough, so instead of drinking something cold, I went for hot tea.

Finally, our food arrived. It did take quite long and I was hungry!

My friend ate beef stroganoff. I hope I got the name right! If not mistaken, I think it is a Russian dish of sauteed pieces of beef served in a sauce with sour cream.

My friend said it was so so only. I ate a little of the beef and agreed with him.

Mine was baked salmon. It was not too bad, though I would not say it's good!

The bill came up to RM82.80 which was pretty pricey to me! But I did not mind splurging a little, so it was OK.

After lunch, we went over to First World Hotel and had a tour of the Indoor Theme Park. Anyone who enters this Indoor Theme Park will not fail to see this Statue Of Liberty.

And this Oscar statue opposite.

There's a T-Rex's head breaking out of the wall trying to attack an overturned car.

And of course there was my favourite Superhero, who is none other than Superman! But they replaced his S logo with a G! No prize for guessing what that letter G stands for!

By the way, anyone knows who is this Superhero?

If you have been to Genting Highlands a few times already, these pictures may be pretty boring to you, but for first timers, I am sure seeing these pictures would make you want to go Genting Highlands, am I right? : )

Lots of shops and stalls selling stuffs. I did not buy a single thing. My friend Ed bought some clothes from FOS.

Look at these unique lantern balls!

There are many indoor theme park rides, but I just took photos of a few of them only.

Below is the Venice Gondola ride. By the way, the man steering the gondola is not real, haha.

This is a Rio Float. They come in different designs.

This resembles a dragon.

This is what they called a Reindeer Cruiser.

A Rio Float with Reindeer Cruisers in the background.

After all those walking around, we decided to have a drink at Starbucks. It was here that we took out our laptops and did some online surfing. I had wanted to change my blog's template for quite some time but did not really know how so I asked Ed for help.

He showed me some Blogger templates. I chose one which I liked then asked him to teach me how to replace my previous template with the new one that I am having now. It was all done within a matter or minutes! Simple!

And that, my dear readers, is the story of how I changed my blog's layout at Genting Highlands! Nothing dramatic or exciting about it, I'm afraid! Sorry if this seems like an anti-climax but that's how I make you read Part1, 2 and 3 of this story! Haha!

Still, I hope this will not stop you from reading the final part - Part 4 - where I will blog about why we were not allowed to enter the casino. My friend did get to enter in the end though. I did not. Anyone want to guess why? : )

How I Changed My Blog's Layout At Genting Highlands (Part 2)

Posted by : foongpc | Tuesday, February 23, 2010 | Published in

Continued from Part 1

Before we drove up Genting Highlands, I and my friend Ed decided to have our breakfast at Otak Otak Place in 1Utama.

We chose to go there as they were having this breakfast set promotion at RM5!

Ed and I ordered the same set, which was toasted bread with butter and kaya, half boiled eggs and coffee.

The cup of coffee came with a piece of cracker too. At RM5, it was worth it as ordering these 3 items would cost about RM8 at the normal prices.

I love the toasted bread! Well, it was way better than the toasted bread I had at OldTown White Coffee! I would say after eating at places like Otak Otak Place, PappaRich and TC Toast & Coffee, OldTown's food is the absolute worst!

Otak Otak Place also have a nice interior. Look at this bicycle on display there!

I just realised they have a bicycle on display in every one of their outlets. I have been to the outlet in Tropicana City Mall and they have even more things on display there!

I even saw a pack of Happy Families cards on my table but we did not bother to play it. In fact, I don't even know how to play this card game!

Before leaving, we were given 2 complimentary packets of premix coffee with tongkat ali, gano and ginseng extract. Nice!

After breakfast, we drove to Genting Highlands. Or rather, Ed drove while I sat there and enjoyed the view.

It was a breeze driving there as there were not many cars. Well, it was the second day of Chinese New Year so I guess most people were already back in their hometowns.

Well, how wrong I was! When we reached the Skyway station midway up Genting, we were shocked to see the long queue of people waiting in line for the cable cars!

There were many foreign workers from Bangladesh and Indonesia. I guess they must be having their day off and took the opportunity to visit Genting Highlands!

Moral of this story : Don't go to Genting Highlands on a public holiday! Or at least, don't take the cable car ride.

If you are a regular reader of my blog, you will know that I hate queues! Well, as much as I hated queues, I did not ask Ed to drive us up because his car was a brand new car and had yet to reach 1000km in mileage! I did not want to strain his new car too much!

So we had to tolerate for almost two hours lining up for the cable car!

I did not know how I survived that 2 hours but I did! I guess with a friend as company, it was bearable.

Finally, we got onto the cable car. They called it Skyway Gondola which sounded nice, haha.

Now please excuse me if I have to flood this post with pictures taken from inside the cable car as I have not sat in this Skyway Gondola for more than 10 years! LOL!

Each cable car can only take in a maximum of 8 persons. So there were 6 other people with us. Not much room to move around to take pictures!

From this photo below, you can see that we were leaving the cable car station.

I was surprised that as a person who is afraid of heights, I did not feel any fear at that time! Maybe my stint at FRIM's suspended bridge had cured me. Haha!

Yippie! We were on top of the world!

Then Ed pointed out to me our cable car number. Wow! It was number 48!!

In Cantonese, 48 sounds like "sei fatt" or continuously getting rich! What a prosperous feeling up there in the sky! And coincidentally, it was the second day of Chinese New Year. Woo hoo!

My friend would end up using this number later on in the casino but that will be another story.

I really enjoyed the ride. Well, maybe not as much fun as 10 years ago, when I was much younger, but it was still fun nevertheless.

By the way, did you know that Genting Skyway is one of the fastest cable car in the world running at 6 metres per second and also the longest in South East Asia at 3.38km?

OK, here's a question to test your mathematical skill. Using the figures I just provided above, how long do you think our cable car journey was? The first person to answer this correctly will win a special prize from me! : )

How I Changed My Blog's Layout At Genting Highlands (Part 1)

Posted by : foongpc | Sunday, February 21, 2010 | Published in

It was unbearably hot this Chinese New Year. There was hardly any rain and the sun was shining down in full force every single day!

And so when my friend asked me if I wanted to go up to Genting Highlands, I was all for it! In fact, I was so happy he asked as I wanted to get away from all this heat!

He actually texted me on my handphone the night before. The sms messages went something like this. I shall call my friend Ed.

Ed : Are u interested for a trip to Genting tomorrow?

Me : Tomorrow? What to do there?

Ed : Hang out, makan and etc.

Me : Ok, sure. U drive?

Ed : You mind if we try take the bus? If can't get ticket then drive.

Me : Can also. Have not tried taking a bus to Genting!

Ed : Will call u later to discuss.

So he called me up later and we decided to start our journey from 1Utama bus station at 11am the next day. I thought it would be fun going to Genting in a bus as normally I go in a car. The bus would drop us at the cable car station midway where we would be taking the cable car ride up to Genting. For your information, I had not sat in that cable car for more than 10 years already, I think! So I was all eager to go!

The next day, which happened to be the second day of Chinese New Year, Ed drove over to my house at 10am to fetch me to 1Utama. After parking his car in 1Utama, we went to the ticket counter to enquire about the tickets.

Imagine our shock when we were told that the only available tickets were for the 12.30pm bus and for return journey, only 4pm bus was available. All others were sold out! It would be pointless to sit the 12.30pm bus to Genting and return on the 4pm bus!

So we decided to drive there instead.

A Tribute To My Blogger Friends 2

Posted by : foongpc | Saturday, January 2, 2010 | Published in

Now that the year 2009 is gone forever,
I would like to welcome this brand new year,
With a tribute to my blogger friends and followers,
If you are new to my blog thanks for dropping by here,
Hopefully you'll become one of my brand new loyal readers,
And while you are at it, why not sign up as one of my subscribers?
Or join me on Facebook or follow me on Twitter?
Surely that's not too much to ask from you, my dear readers? : )

Now let me start off with HappySurfer,
Who has always been my loyal Follower,
I have never seen her from far or near,
I wonder if she looks anything like Liv Tyler!

And then there's Tekkaus who is very popular,
Who comes from the historical state of Melaka,
I'm not sure what he does though I'm certain he's no Crime Scene Investigator,
But I think he's really busy cos he totally neglects his Tech Buzzer!

Reanaclaire was hoping I could write a Tribute to her,
So here it is - my Tribute to this blogger from Ipoh, Malaysia,
She recently went to Japan for travel and leisure,
And came back with a true ghost story much to my horror!

Ladyviral had always wanted to be my First Commenter,
And she finally succeeded after trying for a year!
Of course I am just kidding, my dear,
Now can you please send me your home cooked fried rice by courier!

I have met Lina, the Japan-mad blogger,
She's into all things Japanese, that I know for sure!
I am positive she would rather eat takoyaki than Ramli burger,
And that her next holiday would again be a trip to Japan, not Indonesia!

Xin and J2Kfm are both confirmed floggers,
That means they blog about food and nothing else throughout the whole year!
I am not sure if I should continue to be one of their faithful readers,
Because damn it, I seem to be getting rounder and rounder!

Bengbeng is one of those "terror" bloggers,
Who can come out with 3 posts or more within 24 hours,
Now tell me how can I catch up with such a blogger,
When the best I can do is to write a new post every 48 hours!

Merryn is someone whom I love to get to know better,
Cos it's actually her cutie two year old son Ethan that I am after,
No I'm not a pedophile if that's what you fear,
Anyway, Merryn thanks for following me on Twitter!

I am sure you all know who is Fufu, the frequent traveler,
Sometimes I wonder how he can afford to travel the world over,
Either he's really loaded or he has a rich sponsor,
Fufu, I hope one day you'll be my travel partner!

Reading fufu's blog I need to scroll down lower and lower,
Cos his post is so long it takes me forever,
Fufu, can you please make your posts a little shorter,
Cos by the time I leave my comments I can't remember what I read earlier!

Recently I received a very cute souvenir,
No it's not from Santa and Rudolph the red nosed reindeer,
It's Wenn who had just returned from a trip to Hong Kong, Macau and China,
Who gave me this lovely souvenir which I shall blog about in the near future!

I got to know a blogger called Manglish last year,
His blog is really funny though I'm quite surprised he reads The Kite Runner,
There was an outburst with the revelation of his picture,
I guess we all know who was the backstabber!

Che-Cheh has a cute dog by the name of Chester,
She also has what I think a very nosy neighbour,
She hates going to the dentist but is a Tupperware lover,
If not mistaken, I think she also likes F1 and Michael Schumacher!

Now have you all heard of Twilight Zone the grandmother,
OK, she's no granny, she's actually a male blogger,
Now please don't ask me why coz I won't be explaining any further,
Just visit his blog to get to know him better!

Monica is a part time blogger and full time procrastinator,
No I did not make this up, if you don't believe me please go ask her,
Originally from Sabah but now staying in Petaling Jaya,
She's a confirmed night owl and an active Entrecarder!

I am amazed by this blogger from Philippines by the name of Bluedreamer,
He has so many blogs I feel like a total blogging amateur,
He recently dedicated one whole month to my idol Mariah,
Thank you Blue for awarding me Blog Idol Of The Year!

EastCoastLife or ECL is a popular Singaporean blogger,
I love reading her blog so much I am an official follower,
I also try my best to be her Top Commenter though I have to fight Lina, Ayie and Mariuca,
Actually I would have preferred to win her HP Printer!

Shingo T is another Singaporean blogger,
Reading his Random Notes is more entertaining than watching Ben Stiller,
I wonder if this self confessed male chauvinist pig is indeed a network marketer,
Or perhaps he is working part-time as a male stripper!

I am sure you have all heard of this blog called Hot-screensaver,
Just by that name alone it has attracted lots of readers,
Blogger Neo (who is not, I repeat, not from The Matrix) must be really clever,
To gain traffic just by posting hot and sexy female pictures!

Not to be outdone is blogger Kelvin who uses the same idea,
Neo, take note you have a competitor here,
With posts and posts of pretty girls it's no wonder in 5 days he had 1000 visitors,
Maybe I should go one up and start posting naked, sexy female pictures!

Nick Phillips is one heck of a funny blogger,
Reading his blog always fill me with much laughter,
Now I have my doubts but it seems he's going to usher in the new year,
With lots and lots of prizes for his readers!

CH Voon likes to blog about Vanessa, his daughter,
Well, at least he does not blog about his mother!
OK, this is just a joke, so don't lash out at me in anger,
Don't forget to share with me if you hit the jackpot this year!

CheahS@n and Bananaz are two unusual bloggers,
The former blogs about music though he's no piano player,
I am a banana myself so I sort of warm up to the latter,
But thanks to Jeannie, I hope my banana days would soon be over!

Donna or is it Dolly, I am still not too sure,
She has a boyfriend name Tobby who is no Richard Gere,
Of course she's nothing like Jennifer Garner or Eva Longoria,
But what the heck, she's damn funny so go visit her!

There's Annant who seems to be getting prettier and prettier,
OK, I'm just trying to rhyme it so don't get all excited like a Bunny Energizer!
Reading her blog always makes me smile from ear to ear,
And many times it made me burst out in laughter.

Do you know that Borneo Falcon is a huge fan of Transformers?
You know where Decepticons change effortlessly into helicopters?
He has a wide collection of toys from this series and movie blockbuster,
It's amazing really, but I still think I prefer Terminator!

Eiling Lim is every bit the wine connoisseur,
Although she is also every bit the gourmet chocolate marketer,
I'm afraid I don't know much about wine although I do drink some beer,
And I'm definitely not like Eiling who is also every bit the night clubber!

Now have you heard of this person called Gallivanter,
Who is crazy about Jon Bon Jovi, that I'm pretty sure,
I'm wondering why he's so obsessed with this handsome rocker,
Maybe it's like how I'm so obsessed with my idol Mariah!

Let me introduce you all to a blogger called Cloudia,
Who hails from the beautiful island of Hawaii in America,
And it's from this wonderful freelance writer and author,
That I finally learn the real meaning of Aloha!

If you are into food like a lot of floggers,
Then you must go visit Peteformation Foodie Adventure,
Pete blogs about food from nasi lemak to mee jawa,
And all those lovely desserts which are high in sugar!

Skycity is a nice name so let me tell you about it here,
It's a place where dreams come alive, so says Superman the high flyer,
I wonder if this Superman possesses superhero powers,
Won't it be nice if he can help to get me out of all kinds of dangers!

Now have you heard of Ai Shiang who lives in Australia?
Just like Mei Teng, she's an avid photographer,
Her blog is called It's Raining Ice Cream, now wouldn't it be cool if that happens here,
By the way, check her out - she's quite an expert soap maker!

I have so many more bloggers I want to mention here,
But it would just make this post longer and longer,
I guess I cannot go on like this forever,
Especially if Mozilla crashes and I have to rely on Internet Explorer!

I have already spent more than 3 hours on this Tribute here,
That's longer than watching Avatar at GSC Signature!
Anyway, before I end my Tribute here,
I think I would like to thank the following bloggers....

Jam, for being my reliable travel partner,
QuaChee, for being my inspiring dreamer,
Levian, for simply being an anime lover,
And Lawstude, for being an awesome photographer!

Congrats to Kyh for getting into my Top 10 Commenters,
Faisal, good thing you are back with Blogspot and not with Wordpress any longer,
SJ, many thanks for being my Follower,
And Pikey, my appreciation to you for being a frequent visitor!

Brief mention also must be given to the following bloggers....
Medie, I admire you for being an upcoming doctor,
SK, thanks for being my comment spammer,
And TZ, I know I called you a loony but you know you are nowhere near!

Khengsiong, Keeyit, Beng Gee, Gabriel and Day-dreamer,
Thank you guys for dropping by often and leaving comments here,
Vialentino, Kenwooi, Willie, Witch and Saucer,
For your continuous support throughout the year!

By the way, I am missing you guys - Nic, JL, Rad and Cashmere,
Are you all no longer on blogosphere?
Well, it's OK if you guys are on Facebook or Twitter,
Or do come chat with me on Yahoo Messenger.

Oh! To all of you who are not on Twitter,
It's really fun so go there now and sign up as a member,
Although I am not as popular as Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher,
I think I tweet more than Robert Downey Jr!

So we've come to the end of my Tribute to my friendly bloggers,
If your name is not mentioned here, please have no fear,
For I promise you that if I remember,
You will be included in my Tribute next year!

Of course if you want me to really really remember,
Please drop by more and be listed in my Top 10 Commenters,
Whether it's summer, autumn, spring or winter,
You are guaranteed a place in my Tribute next year! : )

OK, I 'm just kidding, so don't get too serious here,
It may not seem so but once you get to know me, you'll know I am a joker,
With that I would like to thank all of you my readers,
And wish you a Very Happy And Happening New Year!!!

Why I Use Photobucket And Slide

Some bloggers had asked me why I have this practice of uploading all my photos onto Photobucket or Slide before putting them on my blog. Well, there is only one reason I'm doing it.

If I were to upload my photo directly from my computer onto my blog via Blogger by clicking on the "Add Image" icon, here's the result.

Now compare the same photo which I uploaded onto Photobucket first before placing on my blog. What do you see?

(Press Ctrl and + on your keyboard to enlarge for a better comparison)

Is the second photo much clearer and sharper? I wonder why? Anyone knows? And that is my reason for using Photobucket!

There may be other advantages of using Photobucket which I am not really aware of, but this is the main reason I use Photobucket. To keep the image sharp.

Let's do a comparison with another photo.

Kenyir Lake photo added to blog directly from computer via Blogger "Add Image" icon.

Kenyir Lake photo added to blog from Photobucket.

It's such a big difference, don't you think?

I would like to point out however, that if you were to click onto the not-so-clear photos which I added directly from my computer via Blogger, you would actually get to see them enlarged or in wall paper size with sharp images.

Whereas, it is not possible to click onto the photos which was uploaded on Photobucket. So I guess this is one of the disadvantages of using Photobucket?

Do you upload your photos onto any image hosting sites online first before posting them onto your blog? Or do you add your photos directly from your computer?
