The Feng Shui Test

Do you believe in feng shui?

Or do you think it's all crappy nonsense?

Well, why not put it to the test! I dare you.

How?

By knowing what is good feng shui and intentionally practising the opposite! Yes, practise bad feng shui and experiencing the effects! Do you dare to stand up to this challenge? This is the only way to prove that feng shui works despite your beliefs!

Don't worry. Once you experience the bad effects, you can quickly reverse it by practising good feng shui again.

But first, you need to get your best and worst directions.

Step 1. Go to wofs.com

Step 2. Under FS Assistant, click on the KUA Number Calculation to get your personal KUA number.

Step 3. Enter your date of birth and gender and click Calculate.

Step 4. Note down all your four best directions, and all your four worst directions. Take note that of the four worst directions, the Total Loss direction is absolutely your worst!

Now here's where you start your test. But before you commence, I assume that your life is going on pretty well right now, with no major problems.

If you are feeling down and are experiencing a lot of unfortunate events, DO NOT proceed with this test or your current condition will take a turn for the worse! I'm not joking here. Do not attempt this test!

For those of you who think your lives are generally OK or excellent at this moment, go ahead with the test.

Starting today, do the following:

Sleep with your head pointing to your worst direction (that is, your Total Loss direction). You can align your bed in such a way so that when you sleep, your head is pointing at your worst direction.

When you work, eat, watch TV, or do anything that will have you sitting down for a significant amount of time, have your chair position in such a way that you will be sitting facing your worst direction.

Now to be sure you are getting the correct direction, please don't assume. Use a compass. Buy, if you don't have one!

Do the above everyday for a week or more until you experience bad things or bad events in your life. Once you start to experience the effect of this bad feng shui, quickly reverse it by stopping what you do.

Now instead of your worst direction, sleep with your head pointing to your best direction. (Any of the 4 best directions will do).

Also, work, eat, watch TV and do anything that requires you sitting down for a significant amount of time facing your best direction.

This test is important because it proves to you not once, but two times that feng shui works. First time, when you use it to attract bad things into your life. The second time, when you use it again to reverse the effects.

Perhaps after doing this test, you will not think that feng shui is all crappy nonsense any more. Well, to all the non-believers, do you dare take up this challenge and let me know the results?

I believe in Feng Shui. :o) I've actually moved furnitures around and/or put something to counteract the negative force. I was planning to get a reading for my house but I haven't gotten around to it. I also use the same website. I remember posting about it in a forum and was told by quite a few that it is rubbish to believe in this. Oh well, to each his own, right?

I believe in Fengshui, just don't become too superstitious. :)

I have to consult my Fengshui Master at least once a year before the Lunar New Year. Oh, it's coming soon.

babette, you believe in feng shui? Cool! Feng shui is actually easy to understand, but it's sometimes difficult to interpret and apply solutions. So as a beginner, better get a experienced feng shui master to "feng shui" your house.

Yeah, not everyone believes in it, but it's OK. Those who don't believe usually mix up feng shui with a lot of superstitions, which I don't believe as well.

For me, I have experienced the effects of good and bad feng shui, so I know it works, and we know many people have been using and are using feng shui to their advantage whether in business or personal lives : )

tekkaus, wow! You also customer of Lillian Too? No wonder she's getting richer and richer with her online feng shui business! : )

Honestly, even though I follow some of her teachings (I'm actually more of a follower of Joey Yap's classic feng shui) I have never bought anything from her online store.

But in my early days when I got interested in feng shui, I went to her shop in Mid Valley to buy stuffs. Now I no longer do that! Haha! : )

monica, you want to know if it works? Why don't you try what I suggested in my post? : )

khengsiong, if you are sceptical of the feng shui master, then no choice but to learn and do your own feng shui lah! Haha!

lisa, yeah i agree - take it as a guidance and not get too paranoid or dependent on feng shui to solve every problems in life : )

jim, the KUA number helps determine your best and worst directions. Different people have different KUA numbers. A person with KUA number 1 will have a different set of good and bad directions compared to another person with KUA number 4, for example.

For more info, you can read here : )

eastcoastlife, I agree - don't get too superstitious. That's very true! I've seen people so obsessed with feng shui as if their lives depend on it! Wow! Consult feng shui master every year - it's a good idea because the feng shui of your house changes with time. Do you know next year, the deadly Five Yellow is in the North sector?

That's true Foong, Feng Shui is complicated. I'm wary though of Feng Shui practitioners here in the US since some of them probably only attended one class and received their 'Feng Shui' diplomas after that. LOL I saw some well-known Feng Shui masters with websites where one can email them a layout of the house and other info.

pete, perhaps you are right, but at this moment, I think science do not really have an explanation yet...

babette, yes have to be careful and check the fengshui master's credentials : )

cashmere, hope everything will turn out well for you! You may want to try sleeping with your head pointing to your best direction! But for really good fengshui, you would need a fengshui master to evaluate the fengshui of your house : )
